| Greene Street Limited Editions is an adventuresome collection that ushers in a new era for Benjamin Rugs and offers a new way for dealers to market fine hand-knotted rugs. Described as a “limited edition program” Greene Street rugs are each numbered as part of a limited production run of no more than 40 pieces in each design. Ordered rugs are shipped with a Certificate of Authenticity, noting each rug’s number within the edition. By marketing the rugs in this way, the inherent value of each piece is maintained within dealer inventories and in the mind of each end user. The 5x7 program size also allows for each design to be used as a wall hanging, expanding the possible uses for the collection. The designs are the original creations and property of Benjamin Rug Imports, but are marketed as the exclusive designs of each stocking dealer.
